Game wont launch

When attempting to launch the game I get the following error: see attached screenshot. I cant upload the .dmp file here as the filetype is not supported. After contacting support they told me to follow these steps:

• Download and install all available Windows updates.
  - Run the System File Checker to verify the integrity of your Windows system files: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833
  - Reinstall Visual C++ Redistributables: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170
  - Restart your PC, then locate the EAdesktop.exe file in the Electronic Arts\EA Desktop folder.
   Path: C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\EA Desktop
  - Run EAdesktop.exe as an administrator and then launch the game.

after doing so, the issue has not been resolved and supported has told me they cannot help further, all I can do is post my problem here
