Thanks for the reply. After following your steps, then verifying game files it seems that Epic Online Services doesn't show up in services.msc, however in the Apex directory the EasyAntiCheat folder is there.

First, I need to correct one part of my previous reply. I mistakenly told you to check Epic Online Services in services.msc. I confused the “EOS” name used by Easy Anti-Cheat with Epic Online Services.
So please ignore steps 3 and 4 from my previous message regarding Epic Online Services and its startup settings. I’m sorry for sending you down the wrong path.
In my own case, I checked the Easy Anti-Cheat logs and found that they specifically mentioned an old ASUS-related driver called CmUpx.sys that needed to be unloaded before the game could start. After I stopped and disabled the CmUpx service, Apex Legends started normally again.
However, your situation may have a different cause, since both Apex Legends and Fortnite are causing your entire PC to black-screen.
If possible, could you check your Easy Anti-Cheat logs and see whether they mention CmUpx.sys, another driver name, or any specific error?
If CmUpx.sys appears in the log, please let me know. I can then explain the exact steps I used to fix it.
