Getting abandon penalty because of DDOS/server crash

So our server just got DDOS'd in a game, at least it looked like it. It kicked me out of the ranked game and after that I got abandon penalty for it. How is this possible? It's hard enough trying t...

@XHelperZ I had two random Preds/Master on my team and both of them were talking in game chat that this feels a lot like a ddos. None of us could move or do anything in the game.

I can't remember the error codes it gave, shouldve taken a screenshot..

Hmm does sound quite like a DDOS yeah, next time it happens, make sure to check the top right of the screen for any icons, these are indicators for specific network issues.

If it were a DDOS, I'd hope to see some more protection against it in the near future, cause it does indeed ruin some matches.
