Hi @Fusiada
To confirm which platform did you play on that had your progress (EA app, Steam, PSN, Xbox)?
As far as what needs to be done, the steps shared in your linked thread are correct. Since progress is stored at an EA account level, and you unlinked your platform accounts from their Original EA account you don't have your progress and items anymore.
In order to attempt to recover them you will need to relink your platform accounts to their original EA account. More information can be found in our help articles:

To confirm when you mentioned:
"I just tried downloading Apex through my EA app with the right account, and I am level 1 there 2,"
Was this done on your current EA account or your older EA account? If you tried via your older EA account you may not see progress from any other platform until you get it relinked and can log in.
Lastly to confirm the community managers here on Answers HQ are not able to change/update account information on your EA accounts, either you can link/unlink by logging into your EA accounts or you will need to reach out to our support.
Cheers!
The Platform that had the most progress, which I tried to get onto Pc, was PS4, but I played on Pc for about a year now. I thank you for your honest Answer and clarification, the problem is simply that I am not allowed to unlink accounts for 6 months after linking them, and I have heard from others that staff was able to help speed up that process. I have also read that some people got their accounts/progress deleted due to inactivity and not having the accounts linked for a longer period of time, which I just want to make sure won't happen. I am not motivated to level up a new account, so I won´t be playing until I recover my Account, at least one of them. I tried loging in to EA with my old account, which resulted in having no progress due to not having any accounts linked. But I am a bit confused, why is it that the progress is stored on the EA account, but I can not acess it, if the playstaion account is not connected to it? Its just seems strange that I have to complete both conditions in order to acess my progress.

To confirm we are not able to manually override the cooldown period of relinking accounts here on the Answers HQ forums. You can check with our support, but if they are unable to you will need to wait the required time.
I did want to check, since the PSN is on a new account and not its original account, how did you log into it to check for progress? If you did this on another platform you may not see it as the PSN is not currently being associated with it during the time of merging accounts. (as it's on the new EA account)
Cheers!
