Gift card redeemed but no coins received

I've been trying to buy apex coins through the in game shop to buy some stuff, Had to get the coins in 2 batches to have enough and the first one went smoothly while the second one wont go through.
I select the amount of coins I want and the steam purchase page opens and tells me to authorise, which I do but as soon as I press the authorise button the window closes and I get back to the game where the store refreshes itself and the currency information at the top right reload but nothing has changed, and my steam wallet balance hasn't changed nor have I gotten an error code.
Furthermore when I restart the game to try again i get an error screen with the "error code (clock)" or something, but get in just fine when I try again....
