I got banned after purchasing full event for 100s of dollars

Question

On 11 of March, during playing a bot royale match I got banned, checking the penalties it was for "Gameplay enhancement". I literally had no suspicious apps running, no cheats, no micros like recoil , not even cheats for other games, I don't cheat but there is no reason to take my word for it so what happens next proves it.

I appealed the ban, after less than 12 hours I got reply that this ban was "Unusual activities, and to keep my EA account safe" that's literally what they said in the appeal response not my claim, so no cheats.

I change password, enable 2FA and the ban was lifted and that's it? No, I was travelling the day after and till 14 of March, during my traveling I never played apex legends or even logged in to any EA services.

When I came back I found my account still banned when I tried playing, check penalties, I found a newer penalty that was enforced 2 days after my unbanning which is 13 of March, literally the time I never even logged in.....

So there is no way I even like opened the game and triggered something, this seems too targeted more than random or even something I specifically did.

Anyway, I appealed again, 3 days later "March 16" I get a response that I'm a cheater and the ban is final

between both, i never logged in to the game or touched even an EA service both penalties have the exact same description the reason, "Gameplay enhancement" only difference is dates. Screenshots for the support responses.

So somehow, I cheated in a game without even opening it? That's great, specially after I just spent $100s to get all the items of an event.

This is also a warning for everyone, my steam account is literally older than this game, I own 1000s of games on it and I play 4 other fps games. my setup is simple and I use no softwares for anything not even fps overlay I use a razer cobra so also no "hardware cheats", yet this company stole my money and claimed something that never happened, if you value your time and money, don't spend any of it on this game, specially money, you would get more value throwing it into a fire at least you will feel some warm out of it.

Is this the first time you created an account for Apex? I am dealing with the same issue but to no avail. I'd suggest not appealing more than 8 times it a lot of player report their appeal section disappears after 10th appeal. It is not you alone who is going through this, forum is full of people like you and me.

Can you provide more info.. like did you get a ban notification on your email or did you figure out after opening the game? How old is your account? Did you have any prior bans before this?

It is a day time robbery at this point - no one is going to put money into their account if they are going to cheat. NO CHEAT PUTS MONEY IN A FREE TO PLAY GAME APEX TEEEEAM LIKE WTH ARE YOU GUYS ON.

Sorry for the rant, I got the ban on Febuary 20th so I am kind of emotional at this point. Please do share the info.

SadPotatoX​&nbsp; This is my one and only Apex Legends account, Never created one before "this one is created on 2020".I did a 3rd appeal after the 2nd bot auto repsonse that I'm almost sure will result in the same response 'it's a final ban'.I got no email for the ban at all which was the weirdest thing to me, that entire day was way too weird on steam that I could do a whole post on, I was in a bots lobby when the ban happened, I got kicked and message saying "you are banned" which happened the exact second my Kraber landed on a bot "which is more weirder but I didn't mention it in the post to avoid non essential details.I only knew of the ban after searching a lot and finding the penalties page, other than that the literaly told me nothing. as I said my account was create 2020 in apex but steam account is from 2010 i think, no bans before, i didn't play the game from 2021 to 2025, 5 months agoI hope your issue gets resolved, I'm not hopeful though so I'm moving on after posting this to almost all socials so people can be careful of this company. I feel your anger to rant I could spend hours ranting about how many cheaters I faced in ranked putting full clip into my head with no recoil and non of which got banned but me doing 0.7 kd enjoying my time off work will be banned live with no way of return after doing nothing, yup makes sense

I trust everything you said. I have exactly 1-1 same issue and many others. I started in 2025 after a long time but my account is from 2018. Just like you I paid for the prestige skin for Watton and had also purchased the battle pass a week ago before the ban cause I had coins remaning. I still have coins in my account.

This is really bold from EA to not deal with the situation already. They unbanned streamers who had more reach. I am also thinking about letting it go but I just put alot of money into it and can't just let them take it away. IT IS STEALING. Just like you I have been only playing after work and I left my job on Jan 15th, bought a new mouse that was delivered on Jan 16th cause I thought I can finally spend more time in the game and they banned me on 20th of Feb.

I am thinking about getting Arc Raiders and also make a youtube video about this whole situation. I don't have alot of reach on social media but I've also made alot of posts on X and reached out to multiple people I used to watch on Youtube for Apex. I think the accounts are gone. Who ever planned this whole anti cheat update should appologise publicly. It is not properly planned, or implemented and or tested for bugs and yes TOS team is probably smoking something out of this world. I understand that big updates like this are tricky and teams sometimes get overrun but this doesn't mean they'll simply ignore the appeals. I wrote every possible thing I could same message.
