How can I buy Battle Pass for 10$, when it cost 16$ to buy 1k AC.

I want to buy battle pass in apex legends. I live in the Philippines, why does it worth 16$ for 1k coins instead of 10$ that's 60% more than the price on the west.

I cannot afford a price almost twice as high and I'm sure most in my country won't either, it would be a huge turn off to support the game this way here.
