how do i see my cross platform friend in friend menu??

I played with a guy yesterday and send him a friend request for him to accept it, he also send me one, i had to get off the game and I came back this morning and I don't see my crossplatform friends in the friend menu, and I have a doubt about the fact that we successfuly added each other, i don't have his exact gametag so it's impossible for me to search for him, i can only see online cross platform friend in the menu and would like to know if there's a way for me to see the offline cross platform ones to confirm that our friend request went past ?

  • Kezorhal  The friends list is a bit weird as it would show the username for the same platform you're playing on, (but would also show another username, (if different), as "online", when the friend is playing on another platform).

However, if the friend doesn't have the same platform account type linked to their EA Account, (such as an Xbox Account), they will show up by their EA ID instead.

For example, I have Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch all linked to my EA Account, however, from my friend's perspective, (while I'm not online), they only see my by my EA ID:

As soon as I login on my Switch, they suddenly see two friends on their friends list, (with the one that's "online" being my Switch Account):

If you open up a friend's profile, you will be able to see all of their connected accounts, (as well as the username they're currently playing as):

Use this profile inspect feature to see if the friend in question is showing up as a different username in your friends list.

Note: Since this was an example, I had hidden my usernames.
