How do I see which EA account has game progress/cosmetics

Good afternoon, (skip to last paragraph if you don't wanna read background)

I am having an issue trying to figure out which of my EA accounts have my Apex Legends game progress for Xbox, when I first launched the game sometime in late February/early March it asked me to log in/create an EA account. Some backstory first, I "origin"ally (lol) had a PC in 2015 where I downloaded Origin and bought some Sims 4, I had to sell the PC as I wasn't doing well financially a year later. I ended up getting an Xbox in February 2019 just before Apex came out when I was doing a lot better, now back to my problem. When Apex asked for my EA credentials I could not remember what my password was  or which specific email I used as I had 3 at the time, so I just created a new one using what I think was the "same" email but with a period placed randomly between the address, (for those that don't know it is recognized as a different email for account creation purposes, but will still receive emails to your original email as the period is ignored when it goes through the mail delivery system, if that makes sense). I ended up really enjoying the game and it's still my favorite to date, so I ended up spending $500ish when the Pathfinder Heirloom came out and was added to Apex pack heirloom opening rotation.

Fast forward to May 2020 and I just bought a PC and wanted to experience at high frame rates, so I downloaded Origin again, and in classis EA fashion always wants an EA account. Since it had been over a year and have never had to login to my Xbox EA account, i ended up making a new account using a different email as my memory is terrible and don't know which one I used for Xbox (I still have access to all 3 emails). I got lucky and got a heirloom just after I hit level 100 from a combination of free packs and buying around $100 over the first few months, since then I've bought tons of skins, Wattson heirloom, and got lucky with shards that I'm sitting on. Probably $600ish on my PC account to date.

The problem lies in that somewhere along the way I made another new account to play ranked with my friends that were very new to game/low rank (just like all the streamers do aka smurf),  and I believe I accidentally somehow unlinked my original Xbox Ea account from Xbox and linked this account to my Xbox account(I honestly have no idea how to check what email I originally used for my Xbox account) Maybe I was trying to see if my Xbox stuff would cross progress? I honestly can't remember and now know it doesn't. I just noticed this today and this would have happened June 2020. Since then I learned Apex will be getting cross progression by the end of 2022 and was prepping to see which emails I used to see which ones I'll have to link to get cross progression/account merging. As far as I can tell since I bought everything through Xbox the transactions only show up on Xbox purchase history and not the EA account history. From the horror stories and research I've done for some stupid reason your account progression AND cosmetics are tied to your EA account and not your platform account, and unlinking your EA account causes ALL your progress/cosmetics to be wiped from your platform account. For all I know best case scenario I didn't unlink my account and I should be fine, but there is no way to check as I do not have an Xbox anymore (broke) and I live really rural with no one nearby that could download Apex ( at 600kb/s) to check. And since I bought everything through Microsoft the transactions don't show up in the history of either of the EA accounts I have it linked too.

TL;DR: How to do I check what EA account has my Apex Legends progress/Cosmetics for Xbox so I can prepare for cross progression? I've checked my emails to see when I was sent EA account creation emails roughly to when I started play game, but there's nothing there, and my Xbox account is linked to an EA account that I know I created after I switched to PC which is different from my main PC email. Thank you for reading.

  • Hey @Brendon_Cart,

If you're not sure which EA Account was used in the past, I would definitely contact support directly.

Since you're seeing the transactions on your Xbox account, support should be able to look up which EA Account is connected to that particular Xbox gamertag and can help verify and update the login information if needed.
