How to make apex legends voice chat go through speakers instead of headset

I have been trying to record me and my friends apex legends gameplay but his voice chat is going into my headset rather than the speakers so no one can hear what he says. This is on xbox aswell. How do i make his voice chat go through my speakers instead?
