How to unlink EA from Steam account

About 1.5 years ago my Steam account was hacked for free, Apex Legends was tied there.
There is no "Unlink" in the "Connections" tab next to Steam, only Link.
But when I try to link a new Steam account I get this text:

"Found linked accounts.
Unable to connect accounts because EA account (*********) is already connected to Steam account (********). An EA account can only be connected to one Steam account."

What to do? I have a complete lack of access to that Steam account. But have full access to EA

    @funnysimka When there is no unlink option in the connections tab, you have to have support look at the account with you. It typically means that its been added recently, or changes to the account have been made so you have to wait.

    If the account was compromised, support needs to secure the account with you.

    You can contact our live support on our Help Site. To request a chat or open a case through email. First, clear the browser history and cache from the main browser you use.

    • Select the Games tab
    • Select EA App
    • Select one of the account issues like I cannot log in
    • You may get a pop-up that says login and get faster help
    • Select Continue without logging in
    • This should give you the chat/email option
