Is there a way i can unlink my current steam account from ea because i have a different account that i use now on steam but i don't want to ruin the cross progression linking and i fear that it will cause mistakes in the future on my account linking for apex legends.

EA accounts cannot be linked to a different Steam account, once they have been linked to a Steam account. That's because EA accounts have a rule that they can only be connected to one platform account of a kind once in its lifetime.

This means, even if you were to unlink your Steam account, you would not be able to link your current account to it.
