I have great internet but the connection to APEX servers is really bad

it's really sad because it's such a fun and awesome game but it's hard to truly enjoy the game when I'm freezing well fighting the last guy in the game and die because of it when I know I would have won if the game was decent. dare I say EA is selfish they make BANK off this game and they have the worst servers I've ever seen I really hope they stop ignoring the biggest issue of apex legends

* love it. All these people can do is post the troubleshooting link and blame our local networks. Same thing happened to my thread. They share link. I do EVERYTHING they ask. Connection still sucks and then the reps are nowhere to be found.

Yeah have the same issue .  Its only this game that has crazy lag and insane ping numbers . Play on EU servers any other game never more than 140ms but apex legends 220 + . It's their  RUBBISH servers . That "maintenance"  the other  day on servers did absolutely nothing . They just made servers for Switch players . PLACEBO server maintenance . 

How's about your cheap company invests in more servers? Always trying to pass the buck on to the player. 

I spent over $300 since I got this game a little over a month ago.  They make more than enough money to upgrade their servers, they are just greedy and don't care about the player base beyond taking their money like most other companies.

Thats the same problem im having but when im typing this they said they “fixed” them but i still see alot of people saying its bad and im not happy at all with this 

Don't give us the BS, like you don't know that you are servers are garbage. The game is basically unplayable on the weekends.  And often during the weekday peak hours as well. Also don't tell me this is a free game, so you can't invest to servers. Micro transactions aren't free, I personally bought all the season passes. So it is far from free. Hence there is a pattern in bad servers connected to the load, it is obvious the problem isn't on the user side, but MIPS capability of your servers. Which means you're simply cheap... And that you try to give troubleshooting tips is outrages.

How about I give you some tips:

Please double the amount computing power of your servers.
Please check all the connectors in your switches
Please check if all the FiCon cable are in good state.

Please make sure your datecenters are well ventilated, and all of your blades are running on optimal tempareture.

Having the same issue, a workaround is alt+f4 and relogging once char selection is over, after a try or two whatever is causing the issue will route the connection properly.

Not sure if its a server issue or a coding issue with apex itself, this started for me 1 day ago.

At first I thought it was an internet problem on my side but I have 300 down / 100 up fiber optic, I was running 1 tv at 4k, a cellphone on youtube 2k 60fps and youtube on chrome on my pc at 1080 60 fps and streaming my game at 720/30fps through discord with my buddies while chatting with them with no voice lag or video lag, I play Apex at 2k/144hz averaging 110 fps at 50ms-60ms through Dallas server.

When ping is high it averages 140ms when its a "stable" lag and i see people teleporting around, my ingame vchat is fine going out, but coming in it is laggy, if its unstable it runs between 140ms and 250ms and is unplayable but I can hear vchat coming in but no vchat going out. I tried switching servers at first to see if that was the issue but testing 3 other servers had the same problem. I then kept shutting down the game with alt+f4 until it reconnects me to the game with a stable connection which is 50ms-60ms which remains that way throughout the whole game.

Seems like the game is having a routing issue, either server side or something funky with the connection coding..

Everything was fine until 1 day ago, I have not changed anything on my computer.

Issue happens when playing with full pc users (Windows 10 users, local within town distance with different ISP's) and crossplay (xbox users, USA in same household, in one game one of them started lagging towards the end of a game, other games were stable for both of them).

Windows 7 64 bit.

Running Apex through steam.

There is no additional software running on my computer other than Steam, Apex, Discord, Logitech Gaming Software and Razer Synapse, I have updates disabled on everything.

Computer has been scanned for malware with malwarebytes, no issues there.

My connection is 1Gbps ethernet directly to my modem.

While having issues I have run ping tests to google.com and to my modem with no intermittency, modem is a solid 1ms and to google doesnt go over 14ms while playing APEX, I watch it on my second screen.

EA needs to fix their game or servers.

I hope apex head quarters sees this but I am on the same wifi as my freind in the same room but I will have really bad server connections and I'll be bouncing all over the place but he won't be and he'll be only on 40 ping the servers are getting so bad that it's making me lose rp at this point I could have been in platinum 3 if it wasn't for the server connections and I have clips of up being in the same game and it's really really bad plz do something
