Sorry to hear you had misunderstood how gifting works. Unfortunately, it is not possible to reverse or return gifts once you've selected the item, the purchase method, the player receiving it, and then confirm the above to actually send the gift.

Support would not be able to return this either I'm afraid.

Well you designed that gifting button poorly and made it too easy for people to essentially give money to the wrong person. and with no refund or go back option
