Identity Verification error

I've got a problem with the "Verify Your Identity" screen in Apex Legends on my XBox One. I can log into Star Wars Battlefront II no problem, but when I go to open Apex Legends, it is sending me to the "Verify Your Identity" screen. This screen won't accept my email (it says a duplicate exists), and when I entered my dad's email address, he is not receiving the email for the verification email.

I don't see why I can use other EA games that are connected with my EA account with no problem, but I keep getting stuck on this verification screen when I try to play Apex Legends.
