I'm having a network issue with Apex.

As soon as I launch the game via Steam and reach the loading screen, it fails to load and I get an internet-related error. I’ve tried changing the DNS settings, but that didn't work. What else can I do?

CreOosS Thanks for the picture. We have quite a few threads throughout the forums on this, which you might find worthwhile to comb through to see what's worked for other players in the past (under 'Infinite loading screen').

Just to confirm, did anything change when you tried using a mobile hotspot? With the indefinite loading screen, the following steps have helped players in the past to varying degrees, so please give them a try to see if there's any improvement:

    • Unplug USB drives
    • Change your status on Steam to 'Online' or 'Offline'
    • Make sure conflicting background applications are closed
    • Try disabling antivirus software and check which .exe files have been blocked by your firewall and Windows Defender
    • Turn off all overlays
    • Try a clean boot to rule out whether other programs are stopping the game from running as expected

Let us know how it goes, thanks!

I’ve done everything you suggested, but the problem persists. The thing is, it doesn't show any error message, network issue, or anything else; it just keeps loading indefinitely, as shown in the image.

    Hey CreOosS

Sorry to hear that there's been difficulty connecting. If you haven't, please run through the rest of these connection troubleshooting steps to see if there's any improvement, and try using a mobile hotspot as well.

Do make sure your Steam and EA-related .exe files are added as exceptions in your antivirus software, along with your firewall and Windows Defender. Let us know what you're seeing afterward. Thanks!
