Incident Statement of My Banned Apex Account
On the evening of June 25, 2026, I purchased the premium tier of the Season 29 mid-season Battle Pass directly via the Apex Legends client, only to have my account banned the very next day. I filed an appeal afterward, yet customer service informed me that the ban was issued on the grounds of cheating. This accusation is completely unreasonable from every perspective. By basic common sense, no player around the world would spend real money on an expensive Battle Pass and then use cheats the following day. I also bought the Season 29 first-half Battle Pass previously and have continuously invested in this game. I am utterly confused by the cheating allegation, as I have never used any cheating software whatsoever. I only switched my input device from keyboard and mouse to a customized PS5 Elite Controller, and this is the only peripheral I use while playing. The idea that I would buy the most expensive Battle Pass tier and cheat the next day makes no sense in any country, and this ban verdict baffles me deeply. My friends keep asking about the status of my account, and they noticed my competitive rank has been fully reset. I cannot figure out what led to this punishment at all. Does it sound logical to you that a player who just purchased the premium Battle Pass would cheat the very next day? Respected development team, I sincerely ask you to carefully review my account data and my appeal.
I feel extremely wronged and confused by this outcome. I purchased the top-tier Battle Pass on June 25, yet my account was banned on June 26. This is completely illogical by any standard worldwide. No rational player would spend money on a premium Battle Pass and then use cheats the next day. Does this make any sense to you?
My friends are also confused about my situation. I sincerely beg the EA development team to lift my account ban. I will keep appealing because I refuse to accept this unfair penalty. It feels like I wasted my money right after purchasing the pass, only to be locked out of the game the very next day.
Some may suspect that I used cheats, but officials can look through my game data and nearly 50 match logs. My stats only went up slightly and gradually instead of jumping sharply.
I simply switched from keyboard and mouse to a controller. As most players know, controllers have built-in aim assist that makes aiming smoother. My mild performance improvement only comes from this built-in mechanic. I never had any bizarre or abnormal moves in matches.
If I had used cheat programs, my stats would have surged drastically. However, my KD/A has long stayed between 0.9 and 1.2 with no abnormal spikes. It would be impossible to keep such a low KD/A if I was cheating.
