Apex Legends Triggers Full-System Hang (Exclusive to Apex)
🧠 Summary My entire PC freezes for several seconds only when playing Apex Legends — no other games cause this. During the freeze, everything stops (video, audio, mouse), then the system recovers normally. There are no crash dumps, no Event Viewer logs, and the issue is exclusive to Apex Legends, even though I can play other heavy-demand games without any issues or instability. ⚙️ System Information GPU: RTX 3080 CPU: Ryzen 7 9800X3D Motherboard: Gigabyte B650M Aorous Ax Ice PSU: 850 W Storage: WB SN7100 2TB OS: Windows 11 (fully updated) GPU Drivers: Reinstalled twice using DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) 🧩 Issue Details Complete system freeze for 2–4 seconds during Apex Legends matches. No BSOD or reboot; system resumes normally afterwards. Event Viewer shows no errors (Display, Kernel, WHEA, or otherwise). Happens at random intervals during gameplay. Does not happen in any other GPU/CPU-intensive game or stress test.
Constant packet loss
No background apps, stable wired internet connection and yet still, lag spikes appear and packet loss reaches 100 sometimes. No matter what i tried it doesn't go away. SOmetimes i can play 1-2 games just fine and then they are back and doesn't go. Didn't have this problems before. I am 100% sure it's because EA decided to spend less money by swithing to Amazon servers.
Apex Legends crashing my network adaptor
Let me start with my situation. I very recently, yesterday, just got my new pc setup, everything runs perfectly, until it runs Apex. Everything is normal with any other online games im running, but when I launch Apex and load into the lobby, things will freeze up in around 30-40 seconds and dissconnects my wifi entirely. I found out that Apex is crashing my network adaptor whenever I load into the main lobby of the game, and it will not properly reset until I fully quit the game all together. I am 100% certin that this is a issue with Apex becuase every other game works just fine, I also run other games with easy anti cheat and thoes games work fine too. Ive tried many thing in atempt to fix this: uninstalling and reinstalling the game(steam) - did not work repairing the game(steam) - did not work changing to a different platform(EA app) - did not work repairing the game again (EA app) - did not work trounbleshoot net work adapter - did not work updating net work adapter folder - did not work uninstalling and reinstalling network adapter - did not work network reset - did not work changing the power management setting on network adapter - did not work I've played apex since season 3, the game just gets worse and worse. After quitting apex for a while and taking a year off from gaming all together I just want revisit the game I loved so much before, and I am again disspointed the game. If anyone has run into similar issues and have fixed it, please please get back to me for I have searched every possible fix and related topics and nothing has worked.
Apex servers FAILING
The game is currently **bleep**ting it self. This is not a region issue playing with NA and EU and we constantly lagging, failing to connect to matches with the team, failing to even load up the game, first game my squad got into had only 40/60 people. 14/20 squads. This is the 3rd day In a row with these issues. EA PLEASE FIX THIS IS UNPLAYABLE SINCE UPDATE. many times only 1/3 of my squad actually load into a game without getting sent back to the main menu without option to rejoin game.
gpu usage is locked at 40% somehow
was 240fps until june dont know why but frame drops to 180-220 finds out my gpu usage never goes over 40% i7 13700k msi z690 gskill ddr5 6000 16 x 2 msi rtx 4080 16gb 1000w what i did - pc format - tried bios update to both latest ver / old ver - tried geforce driver to both latest ver / old ver - disabled fullscreen optimization was there any patch or updates? have no idea is there any solution i didnt try??
Penalized for game crashes
This has been an issue for as long as penalties have been implemented, and I'm stupefied that there still is has been no solution for this. The here been so many instances where either I or my party members suffer a crash while playing, either ranked or a mix tape mode, and when it inevitably fails to reconnect us, we are hit with a match abandon penalty. It happens so frequently that if I am successfully re connected, I am genuinely shocked, which isn't exactly the mark of a product well made. There really is no good explanation for this nonsense. I even remember a developer saying that I am still at fault because "abandoning the match ruins the game for your teammates". Which completely dodges my question; Why am I being punished for your incompetence?
Error 0x8000001, now stuttering and unable to open EasyAntiCheat set up
was getting an error code for 0x8000001. Which is for missing files/ easy anti cheat. I then contacted support and it turns out I needed to update my network driver. So I did and now the game no longer freezes, but it stutters every 5 seconds. My ping does not spike, I don’t lose frames, it’s like my game just glitches for a second. I’ve tried to run the game for 45 minutes to see if it stopped and it does not. Now I’m reading about opening easy anti cheat, and repairing Apex. But every time I try to open easy anti cheat it comes up for a millisecond, then closes out. I’ve tried the .bat install file, and uninstalling and reinstalling the game. I’ve updated windows, my drivers, my bios, turned off all overlays, disabled razer programs, NVIDIA overlays and discord overlay and turning off any anti virus, I’ve changed my mouse poll rate, and my in game settings of course as well, and also set all permissions for apex, steam, and easy anti cheat, and NOTHING is fixing it. I’m at the point where I’m either going to factory reset my PC, or just stop playing games with easy anti cheat. Someone please save me and my sanity lol.

Hi i have a ban in apex legends and trying to raise a dispute the problem is i can't raise a dispute because i don't see the ban in the first place the system telling me "You have no violations or appeals on your account." spoke with the support and got 0 help about it ofc i am sure i am in my account not other account
