Consistent Micro Stutter after Breach S28 Split 2 Update
My Hardware: - MSI Pro B850M-P - R7 9700x - RTX 3070 - 1tb Nvme Gen 4 - 32gb @6000mhz using EXPO profile in bios - Playing Wired with Realtek PCIe 5Gbe Family Controller driver version 10.79.50.1003 downloaded from MSI Since the Breach season 28 split 2 update I have been experiencing this consistent micro stutter in Apex. Microsoft Event Viewer is showing a spam of "Microsoft-Windows-Kernel-EventTracing" EventID 2 errors anytime I'm playing and only when I'm playing Apex specifically. After many hours of internet searches I learned that this might be Easy Anti-Cheat pinging my Ethernet constantly causing the stutter. Solutions suggest uninstalling the Realtek drivers and using the old version 9.1.412.2015 Microsoft installs from 2015. This actually fixes my issue, the problem is on every PC restart Microsoft then automatically re-installs a newer version 10.78.50.822 driver and the micro stutter returns. The thing is though, I was not experiencing this issue before the Breach S28 Split 2 update, so something had to have changed with Apex and/or EAC. I tried using the driver version 10.79.50 from Realtek's site, tried disabling the driver's power saving settings, tried using the NoPowerSavings version 10.79.20 as well, nothing works but the old generic version 9.1.412 from Microsoft. I don't like that every time I want to play Apex I have to uninstall my Ethernet driver, restart my PC, wait for the old driver to install to then play, but that is where I am and that is what I need to do. I'm hoping that this brings some level of awareness to Respawn and EA about this issue because it is ONLY happening with Apex. I dont play any other Easy Anti-Cheat games so I can't say if it really is Apex or EAC specifically. I also play Marvel Rivals and I don't experience any of these kind of issues on that game. This post is really also just for anyone else having the same issue to know what might possibly be the cause and how to fix it, even if temporarily, in order to at least be able to play without problems.12Views0likes0CommentsApex Freezing on startup
Whenever I load into the game/after I click continue and I'm in the lobby. My entire game freezes after around 3-4 seconds, I have audio the entire time though and the only way to close the game is through my task manager. I've never faced this issue prior to this and would really appreciate some help. I have tried many many things like updating my graphics card, Trying new launch options. updating my BIOS, changing BIOS XMP settings, turning off Hardware-Accelerated GPU Scheduling, Disabling E-cores, underclocking GPU, Clearing Shader cache, running Apex as an Admin and disabling Fullscreen optimizations, getting rid of overlays, verifying game files, and that's just the ones I can remember. I am currently experiencing issues when every so often, maybe every few games or so. I receive latency symbols, followed by becoming frozen before getting kicked from the game. It also comes in the form of my account saying I am ineligible to play or to check my internet connection etc in the menu. This is very confusing as I have great connection, and have even tried switching region connection, running as admin, checking internet speeds etc, and I just cant seem to fix the issue. I was interested to see if anyone else is experiencing the same issues and maybe it is on EA's end. Again EA please get back to me as this issue makes it very difficult to enjoy the game and even play games as an overall expectation. I appreciate the dedication the EA team puts into fixing the issues that occurs within Apex and hope that they can assist me and others in fixing this issue.16Views0likes0CommentsApex is using an abnormal amount of CPU and the fps is extremely low.
After the March 12 update, I noticed a 20 FPS drop on the slopes in the firing range (from 180 FPS to around 160 FPS). In actual matches, as shown in the screenshot, my CPU usage hits 100%, yet I only get around 50 FPS when overlooking the map, and even only 60 FPS when skydiving. During combat, FPS fluctuates between 100 and 120, causing severe stuttering. My PC specs are: Intel i5-12490F, AMD RX 6600, and 16GB RAM (8GB + 8GB DDR4 3200MHz).Windows10 What’s causing this? I tried deleting the EasyAntiCheat_EOS folder in C:\Program Files (x86) and the EasyAntiCheat folder in the game directory, then verified the game files. That fixed the issue on March 13. However, today (March 14), the problem has returned. I have attached screenshots. If you need more information, please let me know what to provide. If there is a working solution already available, please tell me exactly how to fix it.23Views0likes1CommentApex servers?
while playing ranked i freeze and get teleported back and is especially annoying when im fighting someone and i shoot them but it doesn't register and teleports me back and i get downed, ive checked my Wi-Fi and that's not the issue, ive turned my graphics down and that's not the issue, could it just be a problem with apex? (i get three icons on the top right of my screen during matches, audio loss and random freezing)13Views0likes0CommentsApex Crashes after I DO ANYTHING! (XBOX)
Since split 2, Apex Crashes with the same error screen everytime i, Open Pack's, Claim something or buy something. Screenshot the lobby screen (in game no issues) I literally will try loading in the lobby first thing and itl Crashes 5x before im in. Then if im afk for 2 seconds it Crashes. Literally have to go in a game to not crash. I've contacted EA help. X, reddit. No one is helping. 87k kills and no loyalty back?59Views0likes4CommentsSystem freeze while playing in Apex Legends
Apex Legends causes a full system to freeze. The entire operating system becomes unresponsive (no input, no Task Manager, no BSOD, looping crackles in the sound, and nothing but them). Only a forced power shutdown then unplugging from the power source and discharging the electricity recovers the system. When it happens: – Randomly while in game( I didn't notice the pattern ) What does NOT help: – Clean reinstall (EA App and Steam) – Easy Anti-Cheat repair/reinstall – Windows power/performance changes - Drivers update and bios update - Remove all startup options – Windows Memory Diagnostic (RAM check) – no errors - Intel cpu diagnostic - no errors Important: Other demanding games (Battlefield 2042, 7DaysToDie, Gray Zone Warfare ) run without any issue. This indicates an issue with the specific game or, more likely, with the Easy Anti-Cheat system at the kernel level.
