Apex legends severe issues
Can’t make it past the loading screen, can’t access any part of the game . prior to this I’ve encountered MULTIPLE issues since the new season just came out. I wasn’t able to aim any of my weapons, couldn’t switch from my sniper back to my loadout, movement has been glitchy , game froze up twice in the same match etc. This needs to be fixed asapSingle CPU Thread at 100% & "System" Process Spikes
Hi Respawn Team, I’m reporting a persistent micro-stuttering issue in Apex Legends that has made the game difficult to enjoy. After extensive troubleshooting, I’ve pinpointed a specific behavior: one single CPU thread consistently hits 100% usage (while overall usage is normal). Additionally, the "System" process in Task Manager sometimes spikes above 20% during these stutters. Interestingly, the CPU usage on that specific thread drops slightly when the mouse is stationary, but spikes back up immediately upon movement. My Specs: CPU: Intel Core i5-11400 GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti RAM:16GB+16GB OS: Tested on both Windows 10 and 11 Troubleshooting Steps Taken (None have resolved the issue): Frame Rate & Settings: Capped at 60/120 or Uncapped; Video settings toggled between Low and High. The single-thread bottleneck remains regardless of these changes. Launch Options: Tested both -no_render_on_input_thread and -render_on_input_thread. Drivers & Software: * Clean GPU driver install using DDU. Uninstalled Realtek 2.5 GbE Family Controller. Disabled all overlays (Discord, NVIDIA App, Xbox Game Bar). Turn On/Off Windows Game Mode, HAGS, and Core Isolation (VBS). Turn On/Off NVIDIA Reflex, G-SYNC, and V-Sync (both in-game and NVCP). Added Apex/EAC to Windows Defender exclusions; Running game and EA App as Administrator. Swapped different keyboards and mice. Removed all unnecessary USB devices. Cleared Apex/Shader caches and performed a clean reinstall of the game. Hard drive health and temperatures are all normal. I’ve spent a significant amount of time trying to fix this,I really want solve this problem.I love this game. If anyone has successfully resolved this specific CPU thread bottleneck, please share your solution! Hello! Ever since the last update, which was released yesterday, on June 3rd, Apex Legends has started freezing my whole PC after like 5-10 minutes of playing. I’ve already tried to uninstall, reinstall and repair the game but no luck — it keeps freezing my PC. It’s literally impossible to play Apex Legends right now without hard resetting everything… Is there anything I can do to fix this issue? I play Apex on my PC using Steam, but about a week ago I started getting the message "Unable to connect to EA servers (anti-cheat code authentication timeout)" when I start Apex. The internet itself is working fine, and I've tried reinstalling Apex and repairing easy anti-cheat several times but it hasn't fixed the problem. However, games other than Apex, such as Valorant and Street Fighter 6, work fine. Also, for those currently experiencing issues caused by Windows updates, the latest update data has been uninstalled, so I don't think it has anything to do with this issue. Playing Apex Legends over an ethernet connection on PC getting normally between 45-60ms of ping. As soon as I play ranked my ping spikes to about 90-120ms. All other game modes besides ranked my ping stays between the 45-60ms range. These were tested on US-CENTRAL server 1 & 2 and US-EAST. Within ranked my game will stutter every 2-3 seconds and will lag like crazy but within wild-card or trios or duos the game does not stutter nor lag. Please fix this!308Views4likes5Comments
