Inconsistent Sensitivity on Controller on PC
I've read a few of the threads on here and other forums but still have not found a fix for this.
Before anybody complains, note that I don't main Apex on PC but on Playstation. Sometimes before bed I would just like to practice my aim in the firing range on my laptop without having to get up and setup my PS5 or deal with constant invites and what not. So please don't share your opinion on controller players playing on PC.
The issue is as follows: whether I use the sensitivity I'm used to on my console (6:5) or if I mess with ALC, the problem is the same. When I ADS it is very clearly not at 5, but feels like its probably much lower at maybe 2-3, yet when I am not aiming down sight, it seems to be at a correct 6 or maybe a bit higher. If I change the ALC to remove any ramp up delay, the issue continues to persist. I've read that this can be tied to performance, such as frame rate. I have my game capped at 60 fps through my NVIDIA control panel and it runs consistently at that. No dips either way. I have it at 60 because thats what it is on console. I've read it also might be a quality issue with people saying to turn Vsync off, or turn it on, turning all the settings to High, or turning specific settings like Ambient Occlusion to High; I've tried all of these and nothing works. Along with this, if I continuously look in a direction (spin in a circle for example) the sensitivity will randomly ramp up before going back down to be very slow. I honestly can't figure out what the issue is.
I use a PS4 controller, and it doesn't have this issue in any other games so I am certain it's not the controller itself. All drivers are up to date, and everything I can think of is updated as well.
