Infinite loading screen

For the last month, Apex has been broken for me. It goes through the starting cutscene, but I get an infinitely spinning wheel on the loading screen with no message or error or crash. I've let it run for up to 10 mins and still nothing. Here are all the fixes I tried.

- Updated drivers

- Updated windows

- Verified files

- Clean reinstall

- Disabled windows full screen optimization through registry

- Restarted router

- Safe boot (anti-cheat blocks Apex launch if in safe mode)

- Changed graphics and launch settings through geforce experience

- Contacted EA support (kept suggesting fixes I already tried)

- Restarting Apex

In the last month it spontaneously decided to work only 2 or 3 times, but once I was in there was no issue. Because of how long it's been broken for me there's a high likelihood I won't complete the battle pass, I missed most of the alien mini-event, and I'm missing the latest mini-event. If any compensation is possible it would be greatly appreciated.

  • Try unplugging any extra devices from your PC like USB drivers or things you're charging, as they can case a false flag with EAC, resulting in an infinite loading screen.

OH MY GOD THIS WAS IT! Thank you so much, I had a flash drive plugged into the back and forgot about it, but now it runs, thank you so much!

    Hello there,

I am unable to play Apex for a week now. I can't get into the party view and when I do manage to go into party view, it gets stuck in another infinite loading screen when I attempt connecting to a match.

    Tried every solution:

    - Flushed DNS

    - Rebooted / Exited Steam & EA several times

    - Checked File Integrity

    - Switched to another network other than my main WiFi

    - Allowed access in Firewall

    - Checked PC for any attached USB drives. Nothing is plugged.

    - Redownloaded & reinstalled the game.

Please help as I have been aching to play the game.
