Inquiry Regarding GamePP Compatibility & Whitelisting for Javelin Anticheat
Hello EA & Respawn Security Team,
We are writing on behalf of the development team behind GamePP, a hardware telemetry and gaming utility software. Our application provides gamers with non-intrusive performance monitoring (FPS/hardware telemetry overlay) and automated highlight clipping. We also officially collaborate with AMD to deliver optimized highlight capture (reference: [https://www.amd.com/en/blogs/2024/how-to-enable-game-highlights-without-compromising.html](https://www.amd.com/en/blogs/2024/how-to-enable-game-highlights-without-compromising.html)).
Following recent updates to Apex Legends, we observed that EA's Javelin Anticheat restricts GamePP's overlay hooks, preventing our in-game telemetry and recording functionalities from operating properly.
We are reaching out to inquire about the technical guidelines and compliance requirements necessary for GamePP to operate alongside Javelin Anticheat, or the formal process to apply for whitelisting. Maintaining fair play and game integrity is paramount to us; GamePP operates strictly in read-only diagnostics and standard presentation-layer hooks, without modifying gameplay state or conferring any competitive advantage.
We are ready to provide any technical documentation, architectural details, driver signatures, or test builds required for your security review. We would sincerely appreciate your guidance on how to ensure compliance and support our mutual player base.
Thank you very much for your time and assistance.
Sincerely,
GamePP Development Team
