Exactly same specs here 1080ti, i7700, 16gb ddr4 and windows 10
Attached is a screenshot of my GPU while idle in the menus in the training screen with all graphics settings set to the lowest, sits at 100% utilization constantly.
There is something very wrong here, running every other game at highest settings with no issues and this game stutters and lags on the lowest.

Can try to do a clean boot to see if there any programs messing with Apex and turn off any overlay programs for example Discord or Nvidia experience.Try running a CCleaner to remove old temp files and cache.Let me know if this works or not for you. 🙂/Atic- OldManSkillsTV7 years agoNew Veteran

I turned off a few additional taskbar programs, they were:
- Roboform
- Plex
- Steam Launcher
- Epic Games Launcher
One of those services was the culprit, it had been so long I'd had a game be interfered with like that (by other programs) that I'd forgotten to do this.
However, although my performance is better in game the GPU usage remains at 100% consistently.
