issue with w key

Having some issues with any other movement while holding w to move forward. I cannot do anything else to include crouch, jump, slide or anything else. i can shoot and aim etc but if i were to walk backward i can press "a" and "d" to strafe while moving back wards. tried resetting key binds, keyboard is brand new, reinstalled the game, and keyboard is up to date. i bound jump to mouse wheel to just try other things and worked fine. not sure what else to do to fix this. to crouch i have to fully release the w key. even while crouching both toggle and hold i cannot move forward at all. ideas?
