Yes it was linked to an EA account that was level 1 that I never played on before.
So when I got the cross progression message I linked it to the right ea account.
nothing happened for 2 days until today when my pc account took over my Xbox account.
Linking your platform to a different EA account will result in a loss of progress. That progress is stored at the EA account level, not on the specific platform.
By moving your Xbox account, you've lost access to the content that was earned there, as it's still stored on the original EA account.
There is not a way to combine progress from two separate EA accounts, though if you were just wanting the Xbox progress back, you can look into re-linking your Xbox to its original EA account.

So if I relink my Xbox account to the original level 1 ea account, will the Xbox account take over that ea account and merge with that?
I guess I am just confused that even if my accounts were to have merged, why the lower account took priority and completely wiped my Xbox account progress just because I linked it to a new ea account.

Hi @JordieGz,
Since progress is never transferred between two different EA accounts, that Xbox progress wasn't merged to the one it's on now.
Your lower account took priority because that's the progress that was on the new EA account where you recently linked your Xbox, so that's the progress that would be used.
Cross Progression allows the progress from a single EA account to be accessed by any platforms connected to that same EA account. It doesn't transfer that progress to other accounts.- 2 years ago
So what I’m gaining from that is that regardless of what level I had on Xbox, if I were to connect it to any different EA account, its just going to take the progress from my PC ea account.
because even if I were to link my Xbox back to the original ea account, it would then make my Xbox a level 1 because that EA account was level 1 and that takes priority.
so what is the point of being able to merge if you are just going to lose console progress anyways, even if it is a higher account..?
This was a day 1 apex account I just lost so this is really upsetting.
thank you for your quick responses though.
