To clarify, when you mentioned your progress on PlayStation was lost, do you mean your cosmetics, or your stats?
As mentioned in those articles, progress is stored on the EA account level, not on individual platforms like PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, etc. This means if you link your platform to a different EA account, you'll lose access to that progress. This would be your cosmetics.
Stats work differently in that only your primary account's stats are kept. Stats were not merged.
The primary account is selected by the highest level account. In this case it sounds like your PC account was the highest level, so that was made the primary account when Cross Progression went into effect. Are you missing all your cosmetics from PS4, or is it just the stats?
Community Manager@IDrxpSurge Gotcha! Then that would be due to the initial unlink situation as unlinking your platform from an EA account will cause you to lose access to that progress.
If you had progress on two separate EA accounts, I'm afraid there won't be a way to combine that. Progress is stored on the EA account level, not on individual platforms like PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, etc. If you link your platform to a different EA account, you'll lose access to that progress as a result.
You would need to move your Xbox account back to its original EA account to try getting access back on that account.
Hello! I’ve been trying to cross-progress my Xbox stats to my pc but everytime I do it won’t allow me!! everytime it asks on my xbox and i check my pc it doesn’t work. I’m freshly new on pc and I’m almost level 400 on xbox.
so i should link back my Xbox account to the Origin one? what would that solve? i don't even know if Origins still works... The PC account on Steam is the same that i had on Origin the progress is the exact same, but the Xbox email remained on the Origin one after EA made its app and i had to unlink it from Origin since it isn't in use anymore. My Xbox's Microsoft account isn't even Gmail, Live or Hotmail... it's hella old. Plus how and why should i put the same email or account on PC that i have on Xbox?
