@krod776 This is still an ongoing issue in the year of 2021...
I haven't had anything like this with any game up until an EA game. I have played Apex, many EA games, etc. I started to to play Battlefront 2 today for the first time, and it says "credentials have expired" and I am like "what??" So, I follow all necessary steps as the screen advised, I go through the whole password reset, etc. I am able to sign into my account on the website, but, when I go to logout and sign in with Xbox Live, it says "reset password", so I do it again, however, I have done this reset roughly 7 times, and it still says in game "credentials expired" and blurs my email, and then I look in my connections of my profile and it does NOT show my Xbox Live linked and cannot find ANY way whatsoever on how to link it, I have followed the reset instructions, opened 3 tickets as of now 1 says "in progress", and I have not only done all of this, I have deleted the game, tried playing through Cloud Gaming, still no solution and I have reinstalled the game and still no fix, just says "credentials expired", then I go online here and see that folks have had the same issue over the course of the last couple of years, I have followed all steps, restarted the console 2 times, I have deleted and reinstalled, I have changed password several times, and now have opened tickets, the reason behind more that one ticket is 2 were closed without any notice, and I had to place another one of which every agent keeps asking "can you provide an email linked to the account, your ID, and your gamertag and do you have access to the email?" Well, they don't have a chat box to chat with agents of EA so it is impossible to give them information when we cannot directly communicate with someone,
Moreover and lastly, I have opened the final ticket providing all the necessary information as I provided previously in the other tickets, when I tried replying to the individual in the email it sends it to a bot or something that says "failed to deliver message, we don't monitor this email"... So, it is completely impossible to get ANYTHING done...
