Keyboard being changed to US

This one's weird. After I finish playing Apex Legend... My keyboard layout is changed from UK to US. Mostly not a problem, but " and @ are swapped. I can change it back easily enough... but why is...

yeah anyways.. not game's fault... go to windows settings -> Time & Language -> Language -> Spelling, Typing & keyboard settings -> advanced keyboard settings -> input language hot keys -> change key sequence -> select not assigned for both
