Lag spikes and unplayable game

Same. what is going on with this game. the last two seasons marked a downfall of Apex Legends.  These lag spikes also make it impossible to play when Aim bot animation hackers are in lobby. and there are a lot in the Big battle mode lobbies..

Would like to know if you get help with this. I'm having the same problem and it's getting worse the further updates go. I can't play a single match without massive desync and lag spikes. Ping is fine and no packet loss. Submitted "feedback" but I assume that means I'll get no response. This is absolutely ridiculous. Been going on for WEEKS now.

Have you already tried switching datacenters to see if that resolves the issue? (Also, which datacenters are you currently playing on?)

First freeze spike lag occurs ..... at that moment my ping jumps up 25-50 ms so the latency symbol appears in red ... [sometimes prediction error shows too]

then i get UCMD Delay in red for a second or 2, then lag compensation shows in red ....

this cycle happens at regular intervals .... then the game smooths out for 5-10 seconds ... then the freeze spike...

this causes my game to freeze spike and sometimes even rubberband ...... what shows in my screen that i shot and downed an enemy, but it springs back and the enemy insta kills me and when down i cannot even use the down shield cause of the lag.

this is the in game situation ..... even in the lobby menu ..... i can feel the regular lag spikes too as the character and the background animation as well as the audio freezes with same pattern as described above.

as for the data centers i mostly use european servers [Frankfurt 1 or 2, london, amsterdam] even tho bahrain is the closest to my location, the latency to that data center is more than that of european ones and the server never starts when trying to connect to bahrain [x number of players in cue]. asian american and oceanic servers are very high ping so i avoid trying to connect there.

I'm getting the same and have done majority of the season.  actually since the loba heirloom event.

same symbols,  lag spikes etc .

ea aren't prepared to fix it it seems . 

because it doesn't effect the majority of players I expect .

before the update my ping was always under 15 . any speed test on my fibre is under 15 . as soon as I load apex up the ping spikes start (not on my Internet in general , just on apex) 

now I'm playing on ping of 60-70 ... but it spikes every few minutes to over 300 .

This is a known bug, many people are reporting this but respawn doesn’t really care. Don’t expect this to be fixed anytime soon, or ever
