Linked EA and Steam account together for twitch drop, account data gone

Linked my Steam and EA account just for the Load Screen 5 from twitch drops, but launched Apex Legends, then all of my items (account level, skins, etc.) are gone. The account looks wiped and is from...

    Hi there, @465213879.

    This will happen when your account is unlinked and linked again. I took a look at your account and can see that's the case. Unfortunately, we're not able to recover all the content that was lost.

      Regardless of the loading screen, unlinking your account wipes all the content from it.

        Okay I get that if I unlink my account, I will lose everything, and the safest bet for me is to not unlink it and grind everything out again, I'm just curious about the loading screen.

    will anyone who has had there account wiped get there stuff back or is it gone forever because I’ve spent money in game and it’s all gone because of the cross progression unlink issue?

      @Fangww1 

      Accounts haven't been wiped. You just don't have access to anything on it due to unlinking. You can relink your account again after 6 months pass.
