I disconnected an old steam account and then connected one i use and its not ling the account its taking me thought the steps but when i finally get to the end it makes it where i didnt even linked it and this is the first time im linking an account to my ea account in a while

Sorry to hear the Steam linking process keeps taking you through all the steps without actually completing the link.
Since you’ve already unlinked the old Steam account, I’d avoid unlinking or relinking anything else for now.
Please first check the Connected Accounts section of your EA Account to confirm whether the new Steam account appears there:
Link your EA Account to your console, Steam, Twitch, and more
If the linking process completes but the new Steam account still doesn’t appear, or it keeps returning you to the start without saving the connection, please use the Contact Us option at the bottom of that guide so the Support team can take a closer look at the account-linking status.
Also keep in mind that progress, purchases, and other entitlements can remain tied to the EA Account and platform connection where they were originally earned, so it’s best not to make any further linking changes until the current situation is checked.
