Linking Nintendo Switch to EA Account, no prompt appearing

I am currently trying to link my EA account to my Switch Account, which is currently not giving me the prompt. My switch account has started being in use since Season 8, when Fuse was introduced. Recently I heard about Cross-progression becoming a thing and I would like to carry over my switch account to my PC account, so I can play much more effectively. When I start up Apex legends on switch, I am not given the prompt to sign in, nor can I find it anywhere. When I go onto the account settings I do not see nintendo switch an option on the link account. Is there any way I can get my switch account linked to my EA account so I can play it on my computer?

To confirm, if you have played Apex Legends on your switch since Season 8 then it is already linked to an EA account, as linking to an EA account is required to play.

If you do not see your Nintendo account linked to the EA account being used on your PC (you can check on your EA Account Portal) then your Nintendo account is linked to a different EA account.

If so, you would have two options. Either leave your Nintendo account connected to its current EA account to retain your progress and continue playing, or unlink it and link it to the EA account you have connected to your PC to use with Cross Progression.

However, please note If you unlink your platform account (in this case Switch) from its current EA account you will lose access to your progress and items, as they are stored at the EA account level and not the platform account.

How will I be able to check if my Switch is already connected to an EA account?
