As of this morning (about 8:30 AM EST), I appear to have been unbanned, no emails from EA yet and my ban history still says there's an active ban but I am able to queue into games without getting the "Banned: banned" message anymore, may be worth checking for others that had this issue?
can confirm that i was able to join the firing range. however the ban history still remains.

Same thing as you, my ban history still shows as active. @blinxington I'm also able to play again and also have no email confirmation or update on the ban history page.
Considering there's been no communication from an EA representative (or Respawn) it makes me wonder if they have temporarily disabled the enforcement of the bans while they work on a real fix. That would be concerning as there's a risk we'd just get banned again.
Hopefully someone from EA/Respawn can join the thread and provide some clarification! 🙂 @EA_David
- @ADAMPOKE111 Played probably like 10 or so games just now and seems to all be fine. Still needing an update from EA though & the ban to actually be removed from the ban history on our accounts.
Same over here played with my friends about 7 or 8 rounds of apex. Didn't counter any ban messages or kicks.

i was checking in a few times in the last days but eventually gave up
same for me now, can jump into firing range without being dropped.

For reference: Kicked out of game on monday afternoon, email and visibility in the history came on tuesday. As of today (friday), can join without being kicked from lobby. So I would assume some batch processing job kicking in tomorrow morning and the status also changed in the history. I'm also unbanned apparently. I was able to get in Firing range, no emails from EA, there's still active ban on my ban history.
I really hope there will be official statement about this at least.
Btw, I kinda wanted that Wattson skin from the event but it ended while I'm banned...
I know that easy anti cheat will ban you for having file names like "hack" and "cheat" in them. I am at university and i had courses that dealt with malware forensics and the documents mentioned those key words. Also i installed elden ring and mods for morrowind that had cfg files like cheat = 0 or whatever for the given mod. Am i being banned because of this?

that heirloom though is kind of a joke... wraith gets way too much attention.@EA_David please man i feel like im being left in the dust i have been banned for over a month now for cheating but i have not and never will cheat. I am giving up hope for my account being ever restored i recently reinstalled in hopes maybe i would get unbanned but nothing.. please can you look further into my account i am still banned I love this game i am giving up hope to ever play this game again.
