lost 2150 apex coins and 2400 crafting mats :(

TLDR: Controller input still active even when APEX is running in the background 

 

Today i parted ways with 2150 apex coinx 2400 hard yearned crafting materials because of this issue and apparently customer support has denied reimbursement.

 

So let me explain it to You I had Apex running on my secondary monitor. I had The Crew 2 (TC2) running on my primary monitor whilst using an xbox controller. So without noticing it the input of the controller from TC2 was active for Apex as well so anything I would press button wise it would register as well in APEX. After about 5 minute race in TC2 i look over to my secondary monitor to see If i was able to queue for a match and what do you know i was in the event menu and had the Hunter Within skin (Bloodhound) unlocked!!! Then right after i realise i'm missing apex coins too and oh the horror the Mirage bundle in the event store is checked off!! HOW? WHY? I sparingly would spend crafting materials here and there on skins i enjoy however this wasn't in any way something i would have consider to purchase/own especially spending apex coins since i was saving those for future game passes.
