Lost All My Progress in Apex after moving Ps4 acc to new EA acc

Hi!

As the title says, I started playing Apex on my PS4 and it was connected to an EA account, and I don't remember which, and the one I think it was doesn't appear to let me log in due to expired credentials. After transferring the PS4 to a different EA account, I thought my progress would be transferred to, but it didn't, and since I don't remember what the connected EA account used to be, I have no idea how to make progress here. I tried to open a case but it was promptly closed and I never got a response. None of the "Common Fixes" work for me here, and I need help connecting my data either to my new EA account, or reconnecting my PS4 account back to the one with the cross-progression data because as of right now it seems lost to the void.

Any help on this would be life-saving, I don't wanna lose hours upon hours of progress, money and everything.

Thanks.

  • Hey @mxj3ster,

Progress is stored on the EA account level, not on individual platforms like PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, etc. This means if you link your platform to a different EA account, you'll lose access to that progress.

The only way to try restoring that progress would be to re-link your PSN to its original EA account. I'm afraid it's not possible to transfer any content between separate EA accounts.

If you don't recall and/or no longer had access to that original EA account, it would be best to get in touch with support so they can try to verify any details that would help locate the account.

If you create a new case here and select Game Support > EA Account > I want to update my EA Account information or I need help logging in to my EA Account, you should be able to get in touch with the support team so they can take a look.
