Lost an account
When i linked my steam account to my EA account which had my Xbox account on it (higher level account) I lost everything on my steam account. I didn't get any items, skins and I lost the battle pass which I was gifted.

Unlinking your Steam account from its original EA account to link it to your current EA account that had your Xbox does not transfer or merge any progress.
This is explained in the warning you must accept when unlinking any accounts.
Progress cannot be transferred between different EA accounts, so unlinking your Steam to connect it to a different EA account will cause that progress to be lost, which is what happened here.
You would need to re-link your Steam to its original EA account if you're trying to restore that progress. Please take a look at our guides below for more details on how this process works.
