Low FPS

I just downloaded and started the game, but i am barely able to play it because my fps is so low, I have a gtx 1060, yet I'm still suffering from below 30 fps. What needs to be done to fix this?

  • Ok I found what was effecting me. Hopefully this helps others. For some reason Apex was defaulting to my integrated Intel graphics rather than my GTX 1070. Forced Apex to use my GTX under global settings and I am now back to regular FPS expectations.

  • There're some available solution for PC right now:

    1. Update your driver (dont count on this much)
    2. Choose Nvidia card as preferred GPU when playing this game
    3. Lower you mouse's polling rate from 1000hz to 500hz (Tested. My laptop has this issue.)

You can search how to do those things on Google. I cant write detailed guide since im typing this on my phone ☹️. If you can fix the FPS, pls comment solution below for others to read!

    Sorry for my bad English

Hello. I wonder if you can help me regarding FPS issues in apex legends. Yes I have a low end laptop. Lenovo y700 15-isk, i5 2.3 up to 3.2, nvidia 960m, 8gb ram. The thing is i play on low mostly with 80-100 FPS constantly, but when I enter a fight, smoke, air strike etc my FPS goes down to 40 50 and it is bothering. What could cause the FPS drops considering that when looting etc the FPS are around 100? Thank you

I will start this by saying I am not that much of a computer guy, so I don't really know what I'm doing, but I have an okay (I think) computer that runs most games on low graphics without issues. However in Apex my fps is incredibly unstable and especially during firefights regularly drops below 30. Here are my specs Intel core i7-4770 3.40GHz, 12.0 GB Ram, both an AMD Radeon R9 M200X and Intel HD Graphics 4600. I have all the settings in game at the lowest possible, even changing some of the settings in the .txt files.

Help! Is this normal, or is there something I can change to make this better?

I'm the same, and my Sims 4 is using my GTX 1050 2GB.

It's getting annoying, and I used to get smooth fps, yet now I'm getting ~10fps.

This is weird, just this morning I played with 130fps and in the evening the fps just wouldn't go more than 27fps.

No, I am not using my integrated gpu. The default for apex is nvidia with all settings optimised.

    I'm running a laptop with

    I7 2.2ghz 6cores 16gb ram gpu 1060 6gb

I have everything set up as minimum in apex.

    What is going on.

My specs might not be the best but it would defently handle 100+fps as it previously did.

    Any ideas or help?
