Low Ping, High Packet Loss

I've tried literally everything that EA Support Recommends, I've tried everything on the Basic and Advanced trouble shooting pages with no luck. EA Support keeps throwing me around for a loop every time I tell them I've tried everything. Like the Subject reads, my ping is fine, but my Packet Loss is through the roof (Usually anywhere between 20% to 50%). I can play just fine by using my phone as a Hotspot, but I'd prefer to not use all my data on only playing this game. This is the only game that does this, every other game I've tested has no Packet Loss what so ever. I used UOTrace to trace to the server they direct you to through EA Help, and it appears to have no Packet Loss there, but whenever I open the game and check the server list, every server has high Packet Loss. Any help would be appreciated.

    When you have the chance can you try starting up your PC in a Clean Boot to see if that makes any difference at all? If there's something else running on your PC that may be causing this it may help get around it.

  • As I said in the first post, I ran a clean boot, and it made no difference. I followed every step on just about every connectivity article that EA has, and so far nothing has worked.

    Just as a quick update, recently got a new router, problem still persists. I successfully port forwarded all the proper ports that Apex Legends uses, and it STILL doesn't work. I'm running out of choices here. Either I rack up my phone bill playing Apex or quit the game because it doesn't want to work for some god forsaken reason. Going to have another chat with EA Support, see if somehow they can help me.

  • I have a feeling I won’t find a solution at this rate, but if I do I’ll be sure to let you know. All I’ve been able to chalk it up to according to what I’ve found on the internet is that it’s just EA’s servers having trouble, although they might not want to admit it.
