LShift not working on Apex Legends...

Summarize your bug I loaded Apex Legends yesterday on a brand new ASus x16 laptop running Win 11 with an Intel i9 processor. I went to play if for the first time, and went into the training section at start up. The LSHIFT key is not working. It works normally as expected outside of EA. How can this be corrected? Thanks in advance, Dave
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Not sure. I checked the key binding and it shows it being properly listed. Also reloaded the default settings.
What happens when the bug occurs? Nothing happens when the LShift key is pressed.
What do you expect to see? LShift is supposed to Sprint, but it does nothing.

There are check boxes of tasks to complete. W, SPACE, CTRL work as expected.

However, the LSHIFT key is not working. It works normally as expected outside of EA.

Also LSHIFT + CTRL is not working.

How can this be corrected?
