Massive fps drop season 7
Hello, here is my problem: My apex always runs in full 60 FPS on all maps, but when I go to Olympus, there are areas that are filled with grass which make me go to 40 FPS and it's very annoying ... ...

Since the season 7 landed it was ok with FPS but massive stutters.
After last patch, there are maaassive FPS drops, even FPS target doesn't help much, and in some areas not at all. I can't land a single shot due to massive input lag and inconsistency. GTX 1660 shouldn't have problems with it. Season 6 was super smooth.

Deleting Origin cache helped a little but it's still not perfect. Grass areas are fine for me, but first what I noticed was terrible FPS drop while in the drop ship, which wasn't an issue at the beginning of this season.
However, I still have fps drops in some areas that even fps target doesn't help, and random stutters (with audio). I use the in-game FPS cap. Appreciate the response. Hope we have updates soon as this performance issue plagues all platforms.

I'm also one of the many that has to report the fps drops unfortunately along with some very-very serious sound cut offs. I have noticed the fps drops I believe yesterday and I think there was a small game update on steam. Right after the update I started to play and noticed that there some parts on the map where my fully stable 165 fps suddenly drops down to 100 or so and stays there as long as I'm around that area. The other problem is the sound, in some cases bombings or gun shots, shield charges or foot steps has no sound at all.
My spec is:
i7 9700k
16gb 3200 TridentZ
RTX 3070
Windows 10 Professional.
All drives, including bios and chipset drivers and windows is up to date.
