Merged accounts-missing skins

I just merged my PC, PS5, and Xbox accounts. I only played on the two consoles and I was glad to finally merge them. 

Everything seemed fine and it seems like 90% of my cosmetics are now on one account but I went through them all and I’m missing like a dozen skins.

What do I do about this?

    To clarify, when you mentioned merging accounts it sounds like you've unlinked some accounts from their original EA accounts to move them all to the same EA account, is that right?
     
    Sadly that will not do what you're hoping here, as progress cannot be transferred from one EA account to another. Any accounts that were unlinked would not have access to progress made on the original EA account, which may be why you're seeing missing skins.
     
    Additionally, do keep in mind there are certain platform-specific skins that won't appear on other platforms.
     
    The unlink situation is detailed a bit further in the warning when unlinking any account as well as in our Cross Progression announcement and guides below.
     
    If you're looking to restore any lost progress, you would need to re-link the platform to its original EA account. Please contact support directly if you need assistance with that process.
     
  • I don’t care about stat trackers or other progression based cosmetics. What I lost were ~10ish weapon and character skins after the merge.

    All I did was allow the account merge within Apex. It warned that progression will be lost on the merger accounts but I didn’t care about that as it said all cosmetics would be brought onto one account which is what I wanted. It did merge almost everything but some cosmetics not tied to progression are missing. That’s my point.

    No. Apparently what they are very unclear about is that “progress won’t be merged” means more than just stats won’t be carried over. I didn’t care about losing stats or whatever but “progress” also means event rewards and battlepass stuff so that was all lost and I only got to keep stuff I purchased directly. 

    You either have to suck it up or unmerge your accounts. They need to make it more clear that “account progress” means you’ll lose skins.

    I don’t know how these companies are so bad at this stuff, the game never should have been platform specific to begin with but they’re greedy * so now we’re left with this mess.
