Mic not being recognized on Apex (Xbox)

No issues with apex for the last 6 months. But for the last 2 days game chat isn't recognizing that I have a mic, and I cannot hear other players. 

Console: Xbox One

Game: Apex Legends (standard edition)

What I've tried to solve my own issue:

Power cycled my console (6 times)

Cleared Alternate mac address (3 times)

Removed all USB devices and power cycled my console (2 times)

Checked my apex chat settings then toggled game chat off and back on (5-8 times)

Checked my Xbox privacy settings (3 times)

Uninstalled the game, then reinstalled (3 times)

Uninstalled the game and reinstalled on a SSD (2 times)

Tried 2 different mics with 3 different controllers

Tried 3 different accounts

Tried starting the game from store. 

Tried starting the game from my games and apps 

Tried updating controller firmware 

Cleared saved data and reserved space for Apex Legends (3 times)

Restarted my router/gateway (3 times)

Tried wireless connectivity

Tried wired connectivity 

Suffice to say I've exhausted every angle that I could think of but could not resolve the issue. I'm sure there are other solutions that didn't cross my mind. This is the 3rd day in a row that Apex has not recognized that I have a mic.
