Missing 4,000 Damage Badge

Well Ive seemed to have found part of the issue. The first 2k I had was a game with the Rampage lmg, then the first 3k game I was using the Mythic R301 and I didn’t get the badge. So I decided to test out to play with the Rampage again and got another 3k and it updated the badge. So I think it had something to do with the new R301 event they had going.
Not the case Respawn tweeted saying it was obtainable during the event and did not say anything about limited weapon usage
