Model detail stuck on high

Hi, i can't change model detail to low. When i press apply and go out and go back in again it goes back to High, i have tried to repair the game and reinstall it when i launched the game every setti...

Its located here:
C:\Users\*Your Username*\Saved Games\Respawn\Apex\local
Where your username is your current pc account name

I have a 1050 ti running the game at almost 100 fps.. benchmark is 6000.. Your benchmark is 1000 (passmark).. I'm afraid you cannot get high enough.. to get a bit of boost i would suggest:
-Run game in window mode (1024x768)
-Disable intel speedstep and intel turboboost in the bios
-Try and find the most optimal amd driver (i have nvidia so i cannot really help you on that) because there's a chance some driver will offer a bit of fps more than what you have (its the case with nvidia)

I'm hitting mid 30 FPS with all settings changed to the lowest, however the model detail will not change to medium or low, ans it reverts to high. How do I fix this? I understand that supposedly theres a file containing graphic settings (C:/Users/.../Documents/Apex/Saved Games/Respawn/Apex/local/videoconfig.txt), however that file wasn't found, nor the directory past Documents.

Heres the specs Im working with

12GB DDR4 (2133)

R9 M375 (2GB)

  Thank you I understood I had to change the setting "setting.r_lod_switch_scale" to "0" in the "videoconfig.txt", however the way I had understood it from reading around was it was under the documents (clearly its not). I was doing about 65 FPS average in 720p, after setting the model details. Im not as familiar with passmark as 3D time spy, however I know its not the best GPU, being old, and 2GB VRAM. Just gotta do a laptop upgrade soon eh? lol
  I cannot run the game in in 1024x768, as its a 1080p screen (so, 1920x1080, 1360x768, or 1280x720)
  I figure turbo boost would actually help performance as it increases clock speed (for a temporary amount of time), and increases performance no?
  I am aware of certain certain drivers being better optimized as time goes on with the release of a graphics processor(s), however not certain the performance increase from a driver release roughly a year ago, and today will result in much for an R9 being several years old now...
