Monitor goes into power saving mode when playing Apex...

Hey @JoosyTheGoose,

It's definitely weird that it would only be happening with Apex Legends. Have you tried using a different monitor cable to test and see if that makes any difference at all? Sometimes a bad cable can cause issues like this.

  Think the HDMI port coming from my laptop must be 1.0, because the monitor is completely locked to 60Hz when I use it even with a new 2.0 cable. Any way around that?

    As far as I know HDMI 1.0 only supports 60 Hz refresh rates. To use a higher refresh rate you would need to use HDMI 2.0 or Display Port.
