my account name changed

i never touched my name but it changed to a name that i’ve never used with any of my other accounts of my xbox accounts.

Hey @tellmehowtoaim,

You can check your account connections page here just to make sure any name changes you're seeing are from a platform linked to your current EA Account.

If changes were made to this or another account that you didn't make, I'd definitely go through these security steps to make sure no one else may have access.

If anything was changed that you need help changing back, please get in touch with support so they can make sure the account's secure as well.

i have enabled pretty much every option to 2 factor authentication and the name that it was changed to is the full name of one of my friends.

  I don't see any of the platforms connected here using an actual name.
  
  Note that if the name being changed was from another platform like Xbox, you'll want to check with their support instead. An Xbox account name couldn't be changed through your EA Account details.
  
  If this was the EA ID of a different EA Account, you'll want to contact our support directly using the link in my previous post. We wouldn't be able to make any changes here on the forums.

    that’s the thing my name on xbox is my normal name for some reason my name has been changed to one of my friends names with (“) and : which to my knowledge aren’t available for apex names.
