My Discord voice volume goes quiet when I tab into Apex

The issue is basically this. Whenever I tab into the Apex app (fullscreen mode if that is relevant), my voice lobby friends say my voice has gone quiet. Then whenever I tab back out my voice goes back to normal.

Restarting the game and computer doesn't help.

     Go to options/audio and scroll down to the bottom. Then there's 'background voice chat' and 'audio ignores window focus

    @Gundee126 This is the in game options. Apex may be blocking it due to these settings telling it to ignore other windows while apex is running.

    @E9ine_AC I'm afraid I can't find it. To clarify the only options I can find in-game is when you press escape then click on settings. The audio section provides no such option for window focus or background voice chat.

    @E9ine_AC Also while in game of apex not a match just lobby or what ever go to discord and just trying reset voice settings. To ensure it is not a discord error somewhere.

    @Gundee126 Also is this a wired headet or wireless? This could play a big factor into trouble shooting.

    @E9ine_AC under advanced sound settings there is an option for background sound, which is turned on, but it doesn't have anything for audio window focus
