my game won't launch
this is happening to me on steam, I tried everything, verifying files, reinstalling the game, etc but nothing its working
btw I was playing Apex early and it was fine, after the update I started to have this problem

i tried this and it didnt work for me am i doing something wrong?
W bub this worked thanks dude i was on the hunt for a fix for HOURS
I found it:
Go to YourUserName\Saved Games\Respawn\Apex
Rename profile folder to folder.bak
Rename local folder to local.bak
it forces the game to recreate those folders.
The game should work after that.
nevermind i got it. just delete the assets and profile foldier from %USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\Respawn\Apex and it should work.
I'm having the exact same problem and have no clue how to fix this!
