My in-game slot

Hello, I play on Xbox and my apex has had a problem for quite some time now… you know the slot where your evac towers and respawn beacons go and stuff, you know how there’s a button toggled for that slot? Yea, no matter what I do, if I change my keys or anything, that slot that  (left d-pad on my controller) I use for the evacs and all of that, does work, and there’s no button allocated to the slot, even if I try to allocate one. Does anyone know what I can do?
