Nintendo Switch Apex Legends, cannot connect to switch only games.

So I downloaded apex legends on the switch at launch flipped the setting to turn cross platform play off and it worked fine, after the 2nd day I stopped finding lobbies. So I assumed the game died down however, my friend who was on the same WiFi as me still found games. So we tried squading up and waited in the queue for a while and nothing, then we both queued separately at the same time and he got in a game instantly where I was stuck in a queue with about 8 people in it. I can get in cross platform games fine but I feel at a disadvantage with my 30fps cap. I'm from the UK so on the London server I get an average 57ms ping with 0 package loss. I contacted EA customer support and didn't get a fix other than knowing I have no restrictions placed on my account. If anyone has a fix that would be great.

  • OK quick update, I can get into a switch only game on Tokyo but the ping is obviously is bad

  • Yeah man. There are a lot of people having this horrible bug happen to us. We've all contacted EA but they just don't seem to care at all. I was enjoying this game on the switch, sense the switch is all that I have ATM. But I'm getting super frustrated with EA with the fact they aren't responding to this in any way.

  • It's an annoying work around but I've also had to play on Tokyo lobbies. I've had friends getting into UK lobbies really easy but I'm constantly queuing with less than 10 people every time I try and jump into London lobby. Hopefully it's something they'll fix in time
