No Aim Assist on PC after last weeks update?

Are there any known issues about Aim Assist errors after last weeks update?

Prior to last weeks update, AA was working as it should with a slight slow down/"sticky" effect on moving targets, then after last weeks update - nothing, no slow down at all

I went into the ALC settings to double check everything and sure enough, AA was on... so I toggled it off, left the menu, went into the firing range and had no AA (as expected)... I then went back into the Settings and toggled it on again, went back into the Firing Range and still nothing.

I tried another controller in case there was an issue with my PS5 controller I was using and had the same thing, no AA slow down at all.

I then double checked with Steam for the Controller Input (It wasn't on so I turned it on, still no AA, then turned it back off and no AA)

So at some point something has changed and I now have no AA with any controller and I'm completely unable to work out beyond what i've already tried above what has happened, unless it's some unintended consequence with one of the recent Apex updates??

The only other thing I could think to do is to Uninstall and Reinstall the game, unless there's some other kind of solution someone can think of?
